Neighborhood
Just north of Austin in Pflugerville is Pflugerville's only golf course community, the neighborhood of Blackhawk. This neighborhood features a golf course, with pool, sport court and playground and is within the Pflugerville ISD.
Location:Take I-35N to FM 1825 Pflugerville, exit; go right on 1825 through Pflugerville and take a left on FM 685, go three miles on 685 to Rowe Lane. Take a right on Rowe Lane and turn right into Blackhawk.
Amenities
A hike and bike trail runs through the green belt area to the man made ponds in Lakeside and circles around to the new amenity center which opens summer of 2006. This will include a wading pool, play pool and lap pool, volley ball court, basketball court, practice fields for baseball and soccer, playground area, picnic area, bath house for changing and restrooms, pavilion with picnic tables and BBQ pits, activity center with small work out facility. The center will be available to rent for parties and functions. The current pool with pavilion, playscape and basketball court will remain open when the new amenity center opens.
Blackhawk Golf Club offers eighteen championship holes of golf, a pro shop stocked with almost any item a golfer could want, a grill overlooking the ninth green, a driving range and a professional staff dedicated to serving. The course is public.
